Against the backdrop of global energy transition and the “dual carbon” goals, TSP Group upholds its commitment to human and social harmony and sustainable development. The company actively responds to national renewable energy development plans and takes concrete steps to promote the development and utilization of renewable energy.
In recent years, TSP Group has implemented measures such as photovoltaic power generation and purchasing green electricity to reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions, striving to create a modern, green, and environmentally friendly factory.
Mr. Zhang Hai, Chairman of TSP Group, emphasized that as a manufacturing company, the green transformation is an inevitable path. We have the responsibility and obligation to protect the environment and contribute to sustainable development.
Sustainable Development
Photovoltaic Projects
In 2024, under the guidance of the Group Chairman and organized by the Group’s Administrative Department, TSP’s Anhui Wuhu and Shanghai bases launched photovoltaic projects. This is not only a significant step for us in the field of green energy but also a concrete embodiment of our sustainable development strategy.
In August, TSP Anhui Wuhu launched its photovoltaic project, utilizing 8,000 square meters of rooftop space. The project used monocrystalline modules to form a photovoltaic sub-array system, with a total installation of 1,804 modules, creating a distributed photovoltaic power station with a capacity of 990 kW. The project was completed by the end of October, and the power generation follows a “self-consumption, surplus power fed into the grid” model.
In November, TSP Shanghai base also started its photovoltaic project. Like the Wuhu factory, this project fully utilized the rooftop space of the office building, installing 863 photovoltaic modules, each with a power capacity of 620W, bringing the total installed capacity to 535.06 kW.
Additionally, the Shanghai base installed upright photovoltaic panels in the ground parking lot. These photovoltaic parking lots do not require additional land resources and have transformed the traditional parking shed. They not only provide shade and shelter for vehicles but also generate green energy, creating a win-win situation for both social and environmental benefits. A total of 744 photovoltaic panels were installed in the parking area, with a total installed capacity of 461.28 kW, complementing the rooftop photovoltaic project.
Altogether, the Shanghai project installed 1,607 photovoltaic panels with a total installed capacity of 1,000.6 kW. The project is expected to be completed by the end of December and is scheduled to be connected to the grid in January.
Through these photovoltaic projects, TSP Group’s Shanghai and Wuhu locations will provide over 2.5 million kWh of clean electricity annually, expected to reduce carbon emissions by approximately 600 tons per year, making a substantial contribution to the company’s environmental goals and social responsibilities.
Green Electricity Procurement
The purchase of green electricity and green certificates has gradually become the standard for corporate electricity consumption and is an effective way for companies to reduce carbon emissions. In response to the national “dual carbon” goals, TSP Group has been purchasing around 1.6 million kWh of green electricity from the government every year since 2022. These initiatives not only demonstrate TSP Group’s commitment to environmental protection but also represent an important step toward the company’s green transformation and carbon footprint reduction.
Green Manufacturing
In the production process, we introduce advanced production technologies and equipment to improve resource utilization efficiency and reduce energy consumption. We also focus on the treatment and recycling of pollutants such as wastewater, waste gas, and waste residues to ensure compliance with emission standards. In addition, each factory regularly conducts environmental awareness education and skills training for employees to enhance their sense of environmental responsibility and professional competence.
Future Outlook
TSP Group emphasizes environmental protection and social responsibility in its production processes, aligning with the growing focus of our partners on sustainable development. Moving forward, TSP Group will continue to promote the use of renewable energy, fulfill our environmental responsibilities, and strive for harmonious development between the company and the environment. We will also collaborate with upstream and downstream partners to jointly contribute to the sustainable development of human society.
