To further promote first aid awareness and strengthen workplace safety, TSP Group invited the Shanghai Red Cross Society to conduct a certified first aid training program on August 22, 2025. The goal was to improve employees’ emergency response skills and enhance their ability to handle unexpected incidents.
Comprehensive Training Program
More than 30 employees from TSP’s Shanghai site actively registered for this program. The training was divided into two parts: online theoretical learning and offline hands-on practice. Participants completed the online first aid theory courses in mid-August, followed by a full day of in-person skills training on August 22.
The training focused on practical emergency scenarios, covering:
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
Automated External Defibrillator (AED) usage
Wound bleeding control and bandaging techniques
Choking rescue procedures
This combination of knowledge and practice ensured that employees could gain life-saving skills applicable to both the workplace and everyday life.
Hands-On Learning Experience
During the onsite session, professional instructors from the Red Cross provided step-by-step guidance, live demonstrations, and one-on-one coaching. Employees practiced chest compressions, rescue breathing, airway obstruction relief, AED operation, and emergency wound care.
The training environment was both serious and engaging, with participants practicing repeatedly in pairs to build confidence and accuracy under expert supervision.
Certified First Aid Responders
Employees who successfully completed the course and passed the assessment will receive the official “Red Cross First Aid Certificate”, issued by the Shanghai Red Cross Society. This certification qualifies them as trained first aid responders, ready to act in emergencies.
